TEMPE, Arizona - Concordia Texas men's tennis graduate senior
Joshua Bode has been named a 2023-24 ITA All-American. Bode, the program's only All-American in school history, is now a two-time All-American as he
earned the honor in 2019 as well.
The selection criteria for Division III All-Americans is the following: top eight seed in the NCAA singles tournament, win one round at the NCAA singles tournament, finish in the Top 20 in the final ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, win ITA Fall Regional Tournament, or win a first-round match at the ITA National Small College Championships (ITA Cup). All-American honors are awarded to doubles teams that are a top four seed in NCAA doubles tournament, win one round at the NCAA doubles tournament, finish in the Top 10 in the final ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, win the ITA Fall Regional Tournament, or win a first-round match at the ITA National Small College Championships.
Bode qualified for All-American status by fulfilling multiple stipulations: 1)
Won one round at the NCAA Singles Tournament 2)
Won the ITA Southwest Regional 3)
Won first-round match at the ITA Cup.

Bode capped off the 2024 spring season with a 20-3 singles record and ranked 21st in the nation. He was an ITA Cup quarterfinalist last fall, and helped the Tornados win their second-straight American Southwest Conference Tournament championship en route to their first ever NCAA Tournament win over Luther College.
