SEGUIN, Texas - The Concordia Texas track & field team finished strong at day three of the SCAC Championships.
Jacob Land highlighted the day when he finished third in the men's 100m final on Sunday.
Land clocked in at 10.54 to earn All-SCAC Third Team honors. Two Tornados tallied their second PRs of the weekend in the discus throw with
Kimora Roberson at 33.93m &
Sergio Hernandez at 29.26m.
A trio of relay teams churned out season-best times in the men's and women's 4x100 teams & the women's 4x400 team. The women's team of
Ashanti Bradshaw,
Camille McWhorter,
Chachelle Flores, &
Rylee Whorton finished sixth with a time of 50.09.
Kaydrien Rodriguez,
Walker Finleyson,
EJ Ramirez, & Land surged to a time of 42.93 to also earn a point for CTX in the men's race. The team of Flores,
Maryn Trianni, Whorton, & McWhorter saved their best for last as they finished the 4x400m at 4:23.72.
