ABILENE, Texas - The Concordia Texas women's tennis team showed grit and positive results at the ITA Women's Tennis Regional, hosted by Hardin-Simmons University.

In doubles action, Emily Pullen & Alyssa Mae Estrella earned a Flight A first round victory over Kylie Weeks & Madelyn Nichol of LeTourneau by a score of 8-5. In Flight B doubles, the team of Reagan Branum & Aanysia Hamilton earned a semifinals appearances after beating Isabella Hill & Farah Stanley of Texas Lutheran, 8-3.

In singles play, Pullen tallied another Flight A victory with a three set triumph over Victoria Ramos of Howard Payne. After suffering an initial loss in the first round of Group A play, a trio of Tornados in Estrella, Kailey Albrecht, & Aria Moreni earned a victory in the consolation bracket. Albrecht would then tally another victory to reach the third round of the consolation group with a 2-6, 6-3, 10-2 win over Addyson Tylaska of Hardin-Simmons.

Flight B of singles play saw Branum (6-2, 6-3 against Emily Phillips of LeTourneau) & Bailey Parker (6-3, 6-3 against Lauren Walker of Austin College) earn first round victories. Emmy Mize would also gain a victory in consolation play with a three-set battle (6-3, 4-6, 10-8) against Isabella Hill of Texas Lutheran.
