SUWANEE, Georgia - The Concordia Texas women's tennis team swept the inaugrual 2026 SCAC Weekly Honors, the league's office announced on Monday. Kailey Albrecht was named the SCAC Singles Player of the Week, while the duo of Emily Pullen & Valerie Sanchez was named the Team of the Week.

Albrecht was lights out in her collegiate debut. In the Tornados' 7-0 victory over Texas Lutheran, the freshman shined in straight sets with a 6-0, 6-0 win on flight six.

Pullen and Sanchez were also spectacular in their spring debut on line one doubles. The pair surged to a 6-0 triumph to help CTX clinch the doubles point in the match against TLU.

You can next see the Tornados in action in two weeks on Saturday, February 21st when they take on UMHB. First set is set for 2pm.
