Edgewood (2-10) threatened the Tornados in the second half and came within five on a 3-point field goal made by Michael Januski. Concordia, however, held its ground and never surrendered the lead the rest of the way. The Tornados led by as many as 14 points on two ccasions by getting a layup from
Brett DeMetrotion and two Patterson free throws before coming away with the 12-point victory.

Jared Galvan contributed nine points and five steals, while
Terry Corprew finished with eight points, five picks and four helpers.
Edgewood was led by reserves Trevor Neale and Tal Diekvoss, who contributed 16 and 12 points, respectively. Joe Klocek and Chaston Craig netted nine points apiece, while Craig also had five assists.
