CLARKSVILLE, Ark – Due to concerns with COVID-19 on the University of the Ozarks' men's basketball team, Concordia Texas' season-opening game on Thursday has been canceled.

The Tornados were expected to begin the season against the Eagles on Thursday in Clarksville, Ark., but a recent UO COVID-19 exposure did not allow time for the team to meet the resocialization guidelines and the game was canceled.

Concordia Texas will now turn their attention to UT Dallas for their season opener, facing off against the Comets on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Richardson, Texas. Fan seating for the game will be limited to only the player pass list, where each individual is granted up to four people.

Meanwhile, CTX women's basketball game against Ozarks on Thursday is still scheduled to be played with tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
