Men's Basketball Cruises Past Southwestern Adventist

KEENE, Texas - The Concordia Texas men's basketball team dominated in a 118-80 victory over Southwestern Adventist University. Donovan Stafford paced the Tornados with a game-high 27 points on Sunday. The 118 points for CTX marked the most points for the program since 2016.

The Tornados led by two before utilizing a 12-2 run to take control with a 20-5 lead T the 15:57 mark. With both teams shooting efficiently, CTX would carry a 56-41 lead into the break.

Southwestern would cut the deficit into single digits and would get within five points at 59-54 with just over 17 minutes remaining. Concordia then found another gear offensively with a layup by Aaron San Miguel capping off a 17-5 burst to give CTX. A 93-72 advantage with just over six minutes left.

Concordia's lead would not drop below 20 points again as their lead would balloon for an emphatic victory.
