AUSTIN, Texas - Concordia Texas senior guard Joey Ramirez has been named the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week, the league's office announced on Monday. This is the third time this season that Ramirez has earned the honor.

Ramirez helped lead the Tornados to a 2-0 week with averages of 22.0 ppg, 8.5 rbg, 4.5 apg, and 3.5 spg. In a 98-92 conference opening win over TLU, Ramirez tallied a game-highs of 26 points and three steals as he added a team-best seven boards.

In the final non-conference game of the regular season where the Tornados outlasted UMHB in a 92-91 thriller, Ramirez stuffed the stat sheet as he collected an 18-point, 10 rebound double-double and added five assists and four steals
