SUWANEE, Ga. - Concordia Texas pitcher Kylie Kirk has been named the SCAC Pitcher of the Week, the league's office announced on Monday. Kirk tied the program record for strikeouts in a single game last week against McMurry.

Kirk delivered a dominant performance in the circle for the Tornados, throwing a complete-game shutout in a 6-0 conference win over McMurry.

The junior allowed just seven hits across 7.0 innings while striking out 10 batters and issuing no walks. The 10 strikeouts tied Kirk for the most by a Tornado in a single game (last: Bailey Tisdale, April 2021).

You can next see Kirk and the Tornados compete against Eastern Connecticut State tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17th) in the finale of The Spring Games. First pitch is scheduled for 4pm CST.
