SUWANEE, Ga. - After another successful regular season that has Concordia Texas in the postseason, the Concordia Texas baseball team has landed seven student-athletes on the All-SCAC list.
Landon Hyle led the way with a First Team selection, while
Louis Alonzo,
Kalen Clark,
Samuel Ortiz,
Carson Riley, &
Logan Smith all earned All-SCAC Honorable Mentions.
Landon Hyle – All-SCAC First Team (OF)
Hyle led the Tornados with a dominant offensive season, hitting .359 with a 1.026 OPS across 40 games. He totaled 55 hits, including 14 doubles and six home runs, while driving in 42 runs and scoring 36. Hyle also posted a .444 on-base percentage and added five stolen bases, consistently setting the tone at the top of the lineup. He was also recognized nationally, earning a spot on the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week after a standout stretch where he hit .611 with 12 RBIs in a four-game span.
Louis Alonzo – All-SCAC Honorable Mention (DH)
Alonzo was a steady presence in the middle of the lineup, hitting .351 with a .920 OPS in 31 games. He recorded 39 hits and 27 RBIs while adding five doubles, a triple, and two home runs. With a team-high .452 on-base percentage, Alonzo consistently found ways to get on base and produce in key moments.
Kalen Clark – All-SCAC Honorable Mention (1B)
Clark turned in one of the most complete offensive seasons for the Tornados, hitting .350 with a team-best 1.128 OPS. He led the team with eight home runs and added 14 doubles, finishing with 48 hits, 33 RBIs, and 45 runs scored. Clark also posted an impressive .500 on-base percentage, anchoring the lineup with both power and consistency.
Samuel Ortiz – All-SCAC Honorable Mention (2B)
Ortiz provided consistency in the middle infield, batting .312 over 38 games. He led the team with 157 at-bats, collecting 49 hits while driving in 32 runs and scoring 29. Ortiz also contributed on the basepaths with eight stolen bases, impacting the game in multiple ways.
Carson Riley – All-SCAC Honorable Mention (C)
Riley contributed both offensively and defensively behind the plate, hitting .297 in 35 games. He recorded 33 hits, including five doubles and a triple, while driving in 13 runs. Riley also added value on the bases, going a perfect 12-for-12 in stolen base attempts.
Logan Smith – All-SCAC Honorable Mention (SS)
Smith was a consistent contributor at the plate and in the field, batting .319 across 38 games. He tallied 43 hits, including six doubles and three home runs, while driving in 24 runs and scoring 20. Smith also added six stolen bases and provided stability up the middle defensively.
Jett Warner – All-SCAC Honorable Mention (3B)
Warner produced in the heart of the lineup, hitting .317 with 38 hits in 31 games. He recorded 10 doubles, a triple, and 28 RBIs while posting a .442 slugging percentage. Warner's impact was recognized across the conference as he was named SCAC Hitter of the Week after a dominant stretch that included nine RBIs and multiple clutch performances.
