AUSTIN, Texas – The Concordia University Texas men's basketball team cruised to a 104-73 win over LeTourneau on Saturday at Concordia Fieldhouse.
The Tornados (16-5, 13-5 ASC) shot 47.6 percent (40-of-84) from the floor, including 40.9 percent (9-of-22) from beyond the arc, en route to the 31-point victory.
Dwayne Patterson paced Concordia Texas with 27 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and one blocked shot, while
Andre Potts added 26 points, eight boards and two assists.
Brett DeMetrotion also reached double figures with 10 points off the bench.
Meanwhile, 10 other Tornados registered points in the contest.
Concordia opened the game on a 12-2 run and never looked back.
The Tornados led by as much as 37 points in the American Southwest Conference tilt.
Josh Thornton scored 14 points to paced the YellowJackets (4-16, 3-14 ASC).
Concordia will return to action on Thursday, Feb. 13, as it opens a two-game road trip at Texas-Tyler. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
