Concordia University Texas sophomore men's cross country runner Riley Zoch has been named the Taco Bell Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday morning.
Zoch set a personal best and won the Fourth Annual Concordia Texas Invitational at Northeast Metro Park in Pflugerville, Texas, last Friday. The Giddings, Texas, native navigated the 5,000-meter course in 16:33.09, knocking off over 82 seconds of his previous personal best.
Zoch's performance earned him American Southwest Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors on Monday for the third time this season.
