The 2011 Concordia Texas baseball team was the first team to make the NCAA tournament in the Tommy Boggs era. The Tornados produced a 32-17 (15-6 ASC) record and entered the ASC tournament as the ASC's West Division's two seed. The Tornados dropped the first game of the tournament and then rattled off five straight wins to claim the title. Led by tournament MVP Justin Beasley, his teammates Robert Moore, Colton Gommert, Collin Janssen, Colin Butschek, & Ryan Ullman were also members of the All-Tournament Team.  

In their first NCAA Tournament Appearance since 2002, the Tornados entered the tournament as the sixth seed and claimed a pair of wins in the tournament. The 2011 team featured 11 All-Conference selections. Collin Janssen was named the ASC West Player of the Year, Colin Butschek was named the ASC West Pitcher of the Year, and the team finished the season ranked 24th in the final D3baseball.com/NCBWA National Poll.
