Lee Kennedy enters the CTX Athletics Hall of Fame as one of the most gifted student-athletes that the school has ever seen. She played three seasons of basketball (1983-86) and two with the volleyball program (1983, '85).

After transferring from the University of Oklahoma, Kennedy made an immediate impact with both programs. She earned NAIA honorable-mention All-America honors in her first year on the volleyball court. Two years later, she garnered honorable-mention All-America laurels again.

Kennedy led the Lady Stags to a top-20 ranking in her senior season. During that year, she amassed 483 kills (4.16 kps), which still stands as the top single-season mark in school history. In addition to her national honors, she was a two-time NAIA All-District 4 pick.

Former head volleyball coach Linda Lowery described Kennedy as "the top athlete that I ever coached at Concordia." She also lauded her leaping ability and tenacity.

On the basketball court, the Houston native is one of only eight players in program history to surpass 1,000 points. She averaged 15.5 points per game in her three seasons, and she poured in a career-high 37 points against Wiley College on Nov. 21, 1984.
