Megan Wagenaar finished her collegiate career as one of the most decorated runners in both cross country as well as the track and field. Competing for the Tornados from 2010-2014, Wagenaar racked up multiple individual accolades in both sports. In cross country, Wagenaar was a part of the 2011 team that captured the program's first-ever ASC Championship, was a four-time All-ASC selection, including being named a first team selection in 2011 and 2013. In her senior season, Wagenaar was an NCAA All-South/Southeast Region selection and became the first Tornado to compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. She also holds the program record in the 5K run with a time of 18:38.8. In track and field, Wagenaar set the school record holder in the 800m and 1500m events and still holds the best time ran in the 800m event at the ASC Championships, setting the mark in 2012. In her three-year stint as a part of the track and field team, Wagenaar claimed six ASC individual titles, all in the 800m and 1500m events and was a part of the 4x400 relay team who won the ASC title in 2014. She was a three-time ASC All-Conference selection in her career and was named the 2012 ASC Female Track Athlete of the Year. She is the first cross country and track and field student-athlete to be inducted into the Concordia Hall of Fame.
